Ronald W. Kaldor, 73, went peacefully to be with his Lord on August 24, 2018, with his family by his side. He was born March 7, 1945 in Fargo, ND to Willard E. and T. Christine (Berg) Kaldor.
Ron served in the US Army in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967. He was honorably discharged in 1968. His civilian career was in parts sales and management for Ford and Chevrolet dealerships. Ron worked for Shelby Ford, Don Rebal Lincoln Mercury in Great Falls, Archie Cochrane Ford in Billings, Academy Motors in Colorado Springs, and Courtesy Ford and Van Motors in Conrad.
Ron was a member of the Lutheran Church all his life. He was a member of Victory Chapter O.E.S and an honorary Past Master of Pondera Lodge AM &FM, where he held membership for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Carol (McIntyre); daughter, Shannon (Jason) Hartline; special grandsons, Michael and Tayson Robinson; sister, Susan (Walt) Wall of Wolf Point; nieces and nephews, including Wall, Hovde, Amestoy, Moon, McIntyre and Adams families; two aunts in North Dakota; and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and both sets of grandparents.
Burial with military honors will be held Saturday, September 1, at 10:00AM in Hillside Cemetery. Memorial services at Pondera Valley Lutheran Church will follow the burial at 11:00AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Conrad VFW Post 7655, Pondera Valley Lutheran Church, Conrad Masons/Eastern Star, Peace Hospice of Montana, or charity of your choice.
