Ross B. McFee, of Shelby Montana, passed away, February 17th, 2014. The visitation will be held Wednesday, February 19, from noon-7 pm with family receiving friends from 4-7 pm. A reception will be held from 7-9 pm at the LDS Church following the visitation. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on February 22 at the Heber Church of Latter Day Saints in Heber, Utah. Burial will take place in the Mineral City Cemetery in Mineral City, Utah. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitted Funeral Chapel and Olpin-Hoppes Funeral Home.
He was born in American Fork, Utah on May 25, 1954, the eldest son of Ben McDonald McFee and Luana Mae Bronson. Ross graduated from Wasatch High School in 1972, later attending Dixie College in St. George, Utah where he majored in Geology. He was married to Jean Lucy Anderson on July 8, 1977.
Ross served in many different capacities throughout his lifetime eventually purchasing the Glacier Motel and RV Park in Shelby. Alongside his wife, they have resided there for the last 22 years. He served one term on the Shelby City Council.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Lucy McFee; son Jacobe Bronson McFee(Amber McFee); daughters, Shay Nicole McFee and Cheyenne Lacy McFee. Ross is preceded in death by his parents.
