Ross Franklin Trombley, age 52, of Browning, Montana passed away November 1, 2014.

Ross was born May 23, 1962, in Browning, Montana, to Thomas “Porky” Sellars and Ethel Trombley.  He was raised in Browning and Blackfoot.  Ross went to school K-9 in Browning and also attended boarding school where he played basketball.  He received his GED in Pullman, Washington.  Ross worked several different jobs over the years.  He worked as a seismographer in 1982-83, a seasonal firefighter, and various construction jobs.  Ross worked for Freedom Bonding off and on for several years.  He also worked for Trombley Security Services.

Ross enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was out hunting right up to the end.  He enjoyed working on cars, going for drives, gambling and watching football.

Ross was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Guy Vielle and Thomas “Porky” Sellars.  He is survived by his wife, Lorretta Monroe, his children Michael and Marco Trombley of Polson MT., and stepchildren:  Gifford “Chomps” Reevis of Great Falls, MT; Ivy, Nathan, and Izaiah Reevis of Browning, MT; Rosa, Emilio and DJ Galacia of Washington, and Lupe Galacia of Great Falls, MT and several grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Dale Trombley of Great Falls, MT, Richard Trombley of Browning, Guy Vielle of Great Falls, Keith Vielle of Blackfoot, Tommy Wells of Browning, Jake Sellars of Blackfoot, Darrel Wayne Talks About of Browning, and Thomas Sellars of California, his sisters Mary Cobell (Rod) of Great Falls, Robin Sellars of Browning, Shirley Salios of Browning, and Jean McDonald of Browning.  Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews

The wake will begin Monday, November 4, 2014 at The Stick Game Arbor in Browning.  The Rosary will be 7:00 pm, Wednesday, November 5, 2014 also at The Stick Game Arbor.  Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Little Flower Parish.  Ross will be interred at Blackfoot Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitted Funeral Chapel, Cut Bank.  Please visit Ross’s online memorial and leave a message of condolence for the family at www.whittedfuneralchapel.com
