Rudy Daniel King was born on March 18, 1980 in Conrad to Ralph and Gail (Hartmann) King. He was raised in Conrad where he attended school and graduated from Conrad High School. Rudy went on to enlist in the US Air Force in 2000. He was enlisted during 9/11 and stationed in Italy, Portugal, Mountain Home, and Qatar during his many years in service. During his military service, he met and married Vanessa King. Together they had sons, Thomas and Trent. After divorcing, Rudy brought his boys back to Conrad to live. He would faithfully attend all their activities including wrestling and baseball.
When Rudy was younger his stepfather, Jim Schlosser, would take him hunting and fishing. He was unable to hunt and fish during his life away from Conrad but quickly reinvested into these hobbies that he loved. Rudy had learned mechanical skills while being stationed in Qatar. You could always find him working on his own or someone else’s older vehicle. He loved driving older cars, especially muscle cars.
Rudy and Johnny Schlosser had started their own construction company and worked together very well. Certain people had “Rudy lists” that he would attend to when he had time.
Rudy passed on December 11, 2023.
