Russell H. Carlsen

Russell Harry Carlsen, 71, passed away November 1, 2023 from complications associated with Alzheimer's Disease.

Russell was born on October 24, 1952 to Charles and Marion (Sis) Carlsen. He was preceded in death by his parents and his devoted sister, Shirley (Bill) McLouth. Russell is survived by his sister, Sharon (Ken) Raemaeker and his brother, Dewaine (Linda) Carlsen.

Russell served in the US Army in Korea in the 1970's. After his honorable discharge, he returned to the family ranch where he assisted his parents until their passing. He continued to work the ranch until his health necessitated his placement in the Logan Health Center in Shelby, Montana in 2019. Russell enjoyed riding and training horses as well as entering local team ropings. He was an active member of the local Richey VFW. His favorite thing was visiting friends and neighbors.

Graveside services will be held on July 1 9th, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Grandview Cemetery north of Richey, Montana.
