Sandi Becker

Sandra Jean Becker, 71, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019.

Memorial services will be Saturday, December 7, at 10:00am at Pondera Valley Lutheran Church.

Sandi was born February 26, 1948 in Alexandria, Minnesota to Melvin and Eljo (Larson) Weisgram.  Her family lived in Minnesota until Sandi was 2 when they moved to Conrad. The family lived at the Keil Ranch, Venetz farm, moved to Conrad, to the Kelly Farm, and back to Conrad. Wherever Sandi lived she had a horse.  She graduated from Conrad High School in 1966.  Sandi gave birth to two boys, Bruce and Ron. She married Pat Becker in 1973 and gave birth to Robin in 1975.  Sandi worked as a CNA at the Pioneer Nursing Home and babysat.  In the 90’s she worked as a home health aide for Pondera Medical Center and as a hospice aide for Peace Hospice.  Sandi’s latest job was records clerk for Pondera Medical Center Clinic where she retired in 2017 after working there for 20 years.

Sandi was member of the East Slope Back Country Horsemen and was active in 4-H clubs.  She enjoyed camping, horseback riding, spending time with her family, especially grandkids.  Sandi enjoyed putting on family meals and inviting anyone that needed place to go.  Even though in the last years she was unable to ride, she always had a horse that she could open her door and feed.

Survivors include her husband, Pat; sons, Bruce of Conrad and Ronald of Tampa Bay, FL; daughter, Robin (Michael Thola) Sanders of Conrad; sister, Mary Sue (Ron) Pfeifle; grandchildren, Dustin VandenBos, Samuel Wayne Becker, Layne Becker, Tyler Sanders, Lakota Becker, and Holden Cunnington; great grandchildren, Leon Becker, Sammy Becker, and Grayson Becker; and numerous extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Pondera Healthcare Foundation.
