Selma Hardeland

 Selma “Charlie” Hardeland, 95, passed on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Benefis Healthcare of natural causes.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 27, at Asper/Pondera Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Services will be Saturday, December 28, at 2:00 pm at Pondera Valley Lutheran Church. 

 Charlie was born July 19, 1929 in Great Falls. She taught school in Ledger, MT for many years. Charlie married Selmer Hardeland in 1970 and they had a wheat farm in Ledger. She loved Conrad and all the people she met along the way.

 She is survived by her daughter, Eileen Marie Winkle; 5 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

 On March 19, 2024, she was preceded in death by her son, William J. Lathrop.
