Sheila Roseanne (Omsberg) Fitzgerald

Sheila Roseanne Fitzgerald, Long Life Woman, age 48, of Cut Bank, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls.
Visitation will begin on Sunday morning, July 26, at the family home in Cut Bank. Her funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 28 at the Assembly of God Church in Cut Bank. Sheila will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery in Cut Bank following the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitted Funeral Chapel. Sheila was born May 16, 1967 in Cut Bank to Arnold and Margaret (Wert) Omsberg. She has been married to Herb Fitzgerald for 30 years and together they had 5 children. Sheila received her bachelors in criminal justice from University of Great Falls. She enjoyed playing softball, hunting, karate, gardening, and her Chihuahuas and golden lab. Sheila was very faithful and loved to pray. She was not afraid to share her faith and prayers with those she met. One of her biggest joys in life was being a grandmother.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Herb, of Cut Bank; her children Charlene, Herbie, Matthew and Chanté Fitzgerald; her siblings Arnie (Christine) Omsberg of Rapid City, MI, William Omsberg of Cut Bank, MT, Robert (Delia) Omsberg of Cut Bank, MT, Michael (Stacey) Omsberg of St. Helens, OR, and Susie Fisher of Conrad, MT; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a step father, John Omsberg, and a son, Bruce Fitzgerald.
