Sherry Ann Johannes Silvia Smith, 69, passed away Tuesday, September 13 in Great Falls. She was born December 12, 1946 to Winnie and Betty Lou (Dalien) Johannes in Wilmar, MN.
Memorial services will be Thursday, September 22, at 1:00 PM at Whitted Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. A reception to follow burial at the Coyote Club.
Sherry enjoyed arts and crafts including knitting. She would take road trips with her sister, Peg, and spend time with family and friends especially son, Billy and sister, Peg. You could find Sherry at flea markets or watching football. She liked the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting.
Survivors include husband, Gaylon Smith; sister, Peg Johannes; son, William “Billy” (Kelly) Silvia; stepson, James (Traci) Silvia; nephew, Jack (Josie) Johannes Jr.; granddaughter, Kim Martin; great grandchildren, Chevelle and Donovan; stepchildren, Tyler and Lindsey; and many nieces , nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by parents; brother, Jack Johannes, Sr.; niece, Jalee Johannes; and many aunts, uncles, and friends.
