Sheryl K Shreves

Sheryl K Shreves, commonly known as “Charlie”, passed away on May 24, 2012, after a long history of heart problems. A memorial service will be held at Whitted Funeral Chapel in Shelby at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 30, 2012.
She served in the United States Navy for ten years and before becoming a part of the Shelby community, “Charlie” explored a variety of occupations. From lumber yard worker to C.N.A, she was the one you can always count on. Her humor and directness could always light up a room.
Having brought joy to the children of Shelby, “Charlie” could usually be found at the fair helping out with the petting zoo.
Sheryl is survived by her daughter, Leigh Shreves; her mother, Kathryn Shreves; and her sister, Kim Biggs. She will be greatly missed by all.
