Stanley Lee McCarter

September 15, 1942 — May 26, 2024

Shelby

Stanley Lee McCarter was born September 15, 1942, and passed away May 26, 2024.  He was well-loved by friends and family and will be greatly missed.

Stan was a faithful follower first, then a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He lived out his servant’s heart through generous giving, listening ears, and helpful hands. Most wouldn’t know how often he met with people in the church and community, how often he replaced or fixed items in the church or elsewhere, and to the extent he financially gave to those in need. Let us remember how Stan served the Lord and let that encourage us to do the same.

Stan was an E4 Navy Sea Bees veteran, farmer, Montana highway patrolman, flyer of planes, fisher of both fish and men, woodworker, and elder at New Life Community Church, just to name a few.

For Stan, going to be with the Lord was a “win-win situation”.  We celebrate his life and rejoice knowing he is home.  Colossians 3:23-24 – ‘Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward.’

Stan, enjoy the inheritance that you have received from serving the Lord.

The funeral service will be live streamed on the New Life Community Church face book page or may be accessed at https://www.facebook.com/shelbynewlife?mibextid=ZbWKwL.
