Stedman Beebe passed away peacefully at his home in the early morning hours of June 5, 2020. He was born November 15, 1937, in Fair Haven, Vermont to Ralph and Bertha (Briggs) Beebe. His siblings, Ted, Darren, Jack, Robert, and Ione preceded him in death.
After graduating from Springfield High School in Springfield, Vermont, he joined the navy. He married Sally (Hutchinson) Beebe after his Navy service. Most of his life was spent as a field service engineer in the injection molding industry. This allowed him to travel and see much of the country, and finally retire in Montana.
Stedman loved and enjoyed playing music with his family while growing up. He was in different bands playing everything from country to early rock and roll music. He was also very artistic in everything from wood working to oil painting.
He is survived by his wife Sally; his son, David, and his wife, Debra; his daughter, Kimberly, and her husband, Rick Winkowitsch; his five grandchildren: Clayton Duffy-Beebe; Daniel Winkowitsch, and his wife Valerie; Katie Ndongala, and her husband, Gloire; Joshua Winkowitsch, and Kassidy Winkowitsch. He also has two great grandchildren, Doxa and Penayal Ndongala, and his many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Monday, June 29, at 9:00 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery.
