Stephen Joseph Seymour Sr.63 of Shelby, passed away Friday Feb. 21st) at the Marias Medical Center due to a lengthy illness. Memorial services were held 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 25, at the Whitted Funeral Chapel.
He was born December 8, 1950 at Shelby to George & Alice (Sorrensen) Seymour, where he grew up and was educated. He married Kay A. Grosser June 5, 1970 at Shelby.
He worked as a mechanic for the majority of his life. Steve enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, playing horse shoes but mostly being around his family.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Kay Seymour of Shelby; daughter, Stephanie of Cut Bank; sons, Joe (Jill) Seymour of Conrad, Allen Seymour of Great Falls, Pete (Teri) Seymour of Cheney, WA and Michael (Kendra) Seymour of Shelby; sisters, Marge (Dalton) Smitherman, Caroline (Jim) McLeod and Nina (John) Waller; brothers, Norman (Dorothy) Seymour and Jim (Lorraine) Seymour; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces & nephews. He and Kay also raised three granddaughters, Jenifer Nutter Burlison, Kiehlana Nutter Szafryk, and Jamie Nutter Harding.
He proceeded in death by his parents; sisters, Esther Kennedy and Eleanor Seymour; brothers, John and Tom Seymour.
