Tammy Lynn (Wollan) Pederson

Tammy Lynn Pederson, 58, passed on Saturday, September 10, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 17, at 2pm at Whitted Funeral Chapel Shelby. A reception at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church following the service.

Tammy was born to Dave and Myrna Wollan on May 20, 1964. She attended school in Shelby and graduated from Shelby High School in 1982.  Tammy went on to attend Northern Montana College and graduate with an associate degree in Business Administration and Legal Terminology. She worked for Teague Geological and Lee Law Firm before working for the City of Shelby. Tammy became the Deputy Finance Officer in 1985 and continued to work for the city until time of her death.

Tammy married Mike Pederson in 1991. They had a son, Colt Pederson, in 1999. The couple divorced in 2009.

Tammy loved boating, fishing, 4-wheeling, skiing, bowling, riding, and spending time with friends. She was always happy and enjoyed her work and co-workers. Tammy loved cooking and baking.

Tammy was very proud of her son, Colt. She never missed a wrestling meet, track meet, and any of Colt’s football games. He truly was her pride and joy.

Tammy had a heart of gold and was always ready to help anyone anytime. She liked to help her parents out by baking and bringing them treats. Tammy loved spending time with her son, grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lynn & Mildred Wollan and Ray & Palma Johnson. Survivors include son, Colt Pederson; parents, Dave and Myrna Wollan; aunts, Belle Bergerud, Janice Lieseth, and Linda Nelson; uncles, Cornell Wollan, Miles Wollan, and Arden Wollan; and cousins, Joy Patten, Jason Leiseth, Leif Bergerud, Bradley Wollan, Darrell Wollan, Heather Luchi, Heidi Trauger, Travis Wollan, Brandon Wollan, Elizabeth Pepper, Bryon Wollan, Michelle Forestter, Carrie Wright, and Nickol Nelson.
