Teresa Helen Kubis

Teresa Helen Kubis died Sunday morning May 5, 2024, following an illness at the Montana Mental Health Nursing Care Center.

 Funeral mass is being held Friday May 10 at 10 am at St. William’s Catholic Church in Shelby, MT Burial followed in Mountain View Cemetery.

 Mom was born Teresa Helen Kubis on November 4, 1950 in the small town of Shelby. She was the fourth of six children, and the first one born in America to Polish immigrants. She married her first husband Robert Gardipee in 1974.

 She Married her second husband John Wojcik in 1988.

 She loved dancing, gardening, knitting, cooking, Christmas, and Elvis Presley.

 She is survived by her children and grandchildren, Bob (Tiff) ( Kylee, Brock, Jalyn) Gardipee, Wally(Kelsey) (Zade, Zoe) Gardipee and Erin (Scott) (Radek, Ace, Zofia) Dallaire. As well as her siblings, Maria (Larry, deceased) Fauque, Anna (Gary, deceased) Gibson, John (Juli) Kubis, Barbara (Errol) Bjerke, and Susan (Chad) Galvin.

She was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Sophia Kubis; her ex-husband, Robert Gardipee and son, Danny Gardipee.
