Teresa Ann Roderick

Teresa Ann Roderick passed away in her home in Conrad on July 13th, 2024. Teresa was born in Moorehead, Minnesota on August 10th of 1964 to her parents, Jerry and Linda (Van Tongeren) Smith. Teresa spent most of her

childhood in Malta, MT. When Teresa was starting high school, Linda’s job relocated the family to Live Oak, CA. Teresa attended high school in Live Oak but quit high school early to attend beauty school. After beauty school, Teresa lived in California and Arizona. Teresa’s son, Charles, was born in 1993 in California. After Charles was born, Teresa moved back to Malta to be closer to family. Eventually life took the whole family to Conrad in 2007. Teresa had several different jobs in her life, but her favorite job was cooking for seniors at the nursing home in Malta.

Teresa’s favorite role in life was being a mother, until she became a great auntie and grandmother later in life. Teresa had a heart of gold and was willing to help anyone out.Teresa found joy in fixing and building things, she always found joy in life and was never afraid of being herself.

 Teresa is survived by her son, Charles Roderick (Lianna Roderick); her mom, Linda Van Tongeren (Maynard Van Tongeren); her grandson, Cooper Roderick; her nieces and nephews.

 Teresa is preceded to death by her son, Timothy Robbins, dad, Jerry Smith and her sister, April Smith.

 Teresa’s celebration of life will be held at the Pondera Lutheran Church in Conrad, MT on July 20th, 2024, at 10:00am. All are welcome to attend and show their respects.
