Tom Anderson

Thomas “Tom” Anderson passed away Wednesday, August 3, after a courageous battle with Castleman’s Disease.  He was born September 25, 1949 to Carl and Alice Anderson.  Tom was married to Noreen Hillebrand for 37 years and together they had 3 daughters. He worked for Toole County Road Department for 33 years and retired in October 2015.  He was a member of the Trustees of the Methodist Church and a board member for the Shelby Community Credit Union.  Tom loved classic cars and tinkering in the garage.  He enjoyed trips to Glacier National Park and his family was the love of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Noreen; daughters, Michele Anderson, Renae (Bill) Howell, and Amanda Anderson; granddaughter, Crystal; great grandchildren, Kari and Axel; brother, Donald “Butch” (Delorous and Kamron); and brothers-in-law, Donovan "Bucky” Hillebrand and Dennis (Tracy) Hillebrand; and Tom’s four-legged best friend golden retriever, Charlie.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, August 9, at 2:00 PM at Shelby Methodist Church. Burial will then be at Mountain View Cemetery with a reception following at church.
