Tyler Jay Lunda passed away Friday, July 8th at the age of 52 in Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell Montana.
Tyler is survived by his parents Tony and Bea Lunda, and his brother Thatcher Lunda (Erika) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother Travis Lunda; his grandparents, Sigurd & Johanna Lunda; and Hedley and Tiny Arthur.
Tyler was born in Shelby Montana on March 20, 1970 to Tony and Bea Lunda. He graduated from Shelby High School and went on to study animation and art at MSU Northern in Havre. During his time at Northern he worked as a tutor in computer programming. While he lived in Shelby, he owned and operated his own silk screen business. Toby Tees. In recent years he provided full time, daily support to his parents and assisted them with daily living tasks.
Tyler was a talented artist. Often times he offered graphic design services to local businesses and sports teams. He continued his passion for animation and computers throughout his life. Frequently, he would assist people with their computer problems. He was always happy to help and did the work for free. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and honorary family member John Feland.
Services for Tyler will be held at Whitted funeral Chapel this upcoming Thursday, July 14 at 2:00 PM. For those who cannot attend in person, you can find a zoom link on the funeral home website to watch the service live.
