Victoria Peterschick

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved sister, aunt, and friend Victoria (Vicki) Lynn Peterschick (age 72) on October 3, 2021 at Logan Health in Shelby.  Vicki was born February 12, 1949, in Helena, MT to Edward and Josephine Peterschick. Vicki grew up on the family farm and attended school in Oilmont and then Sunburst, where she graduated from North Toole County High School.   After continuing her education and graduating from secretarial college in Great Falls, Vicki went to work at First State Bank in Shelby, where she worked her way up to head bookkeeper. She also provided accounting services for Ron Lambrecht and Ben Taylor Inc. Vicki then embarked on a new career for Dr. Robert Stanchfield and Marias Healthcare where she worked until her retirement in 2019.

Vicki loved music and singing, and anyone who ever rode in a car with her was lucky enough to have heard her beautiful singing voice. She was also the go-to lady for decorated cakes in Toole County for decades. There wasn’t a cake design she wouldn’t tackle.  After she retired from cake decorating, she continued to bake and cook wonderful treats for others.  The clinic where she worked and KW Insurance employees were a few of the lucky recipients of her treats.  KW always looked forward to her “Tuesday Treats.” She loved working on craft projects, painting, and teaching others her artistic gifts. She also loved her kitty cats who were like her children.  Vicki loved her family and loved spoiling all of us, but especially her nieces and nephews and in recent years her great nieces and great nephews. They all knew that no matter whose birthday it was, there would be a special little gift for all of them from Aunt Vicki.

She is survived by her 5 sisters and 3 brothers-in-law; Candy Peterschick, Debra Peterschick, Elaine (Bill) Running, Lea Ann (Brad) Hacke, and Mary (Rick) Christy; and her much-loved nephew and nieces (and great-nephews and great-nieces) Loren (Autumn) Running, Troy (Jenna) Running, Melissa (Tevin) Chilton, Bree and Barynt Chilton, Darcy (Fred) Fairhurst, Michael and Cheyenne Miller, Mandy (Josh) Hacke, and Tara (Jesse) Hacke-Garcia.  She is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Josephine Peterschick.

She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.  A Celebration of Life will be held at later date.
