Her family and her role as mother and grandmother was the most important thing to Virginia. This is where she drew her strength and left her legacy.
Virginia was a kind hearted, compassionate, and caring woman. She loved her friends and family more than anything in this world. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and surrogate mother to so many. Virginia was a social butterfly and as result had many friends. She loved entertaining and often had dinner parties and weekend barbeques. She loved to garden and took pride in her flower garden. Virginia enjoyed cooking for the family holidays. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling with her sister, Gloria Sandholm, and brother Jack Stower. Her and husband, Bob, were well known for their dancing and fun filled night life. There were many wonderful people who sat with them at the round table at the Sport’s Club. Virginia lived a full life and enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas on her birthdays and going with a mix of friends to Mazatlán, Mexico.
We are sad that Virginia is gone but happy to know that she lived such a long fulfilling life. While Virginia is not here in the flesh we know that she is here in spirit. We know that her kind heart and spirit had the same impact on so many. We know that Virginia’s memory will live on in all our hearts forever.
