Ruth Ann (Lund) Young

Ruth Ann Lund-Young passed from this life to her eternal reward on March 1, 2023 at Westview Senior living in Great Falls MT where she peacefully spent the last three and a half years of her life. Ruth was born on October 31, 1960, to Tom and Betty (Sand) Lund in Glasgow MT. She attended grade school in Fort Peck and graduated from Nashua High School, class of 1981.

Following graduation, Ruth worked for a time in Glasgow and Great Falls. She moved to Conrad and joined her sister Stacey at Building Blocks Day Care for a time. Ruth was best known for her quiet, simple life, love of children and baking for others. She loved to watch old television shows, especially the who-dun-it mysteries featuring local and federal law enforcement agents of all kinds.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Savannah Young and son, Michael Young both of Conrad; a grandson, Jordan; sisters, Gwen (Steve) Tvedt of Phoenix, AZ, Stacey (Randy) O’Tremba of Yuma, AZ and Tammie (Dwayne) Smith of Frenchtown, MT; brother, Jack (Pearl) Lund of Miles City, MT; and several nieces and nephews. Also mourning her death are her special friends, Brandi Komrosky and Tracy Grimm. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and brother, Darrel Gene.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, May 29th at 10:00 am at the Conrad Baptist Church, 110 No Wisconsin St, Conrad, Montana. Burial will be next to her parents in the Fort Peck Community Cemetery.
