Virginia Reagan

August 31, 1930 — July 15, 2012

My mother, Virginia Ann Reagan, 81, passed away at rest with myself and a dear friend of hers at her side on July 15, 2012. I was going to write a timeline of her life but then I thought to myself ‘you all knew who she was’.
If you are over the age of 40 you know she had four kids – and I am sure there are some people in Cut Bank who thought at one time or another that those kids were going to kill each other – ‘What that poor woman put up with’.
You remember that.
If you ever had a loved one in the Cut Bank hospital in the last 30 years, she was that little gal who worked so hard and gave her heart and soul to the people she was caring for and their families.
You remember that little gal.
If you ever took a walk or drive down through her street in Cut Bank, you saw the little white house on the corner. You know the one that was always kept as neat as a pin and most of the time had a strange cat or dog in the front yard. Mom always said they were just passing through but they never left.
You know that house.
If you ever went to church, you remember her. She was gone for a long time but she came back, worked hard, and her belief was stronger than ever.
You know that lady.
The last few years my mom has had a very heavy heart. I am sure people thought to themselves, ‘that poor woman has been through so much’.
And she has – You remember that.
As a matter of fact and in the simplest of terms, my mother was the little girl who was born in Belt on August 31, 1930 with three sister, then made her home in Cut Bank. She was a good daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, caregiver and friend. She lived her life with grace, style and class, and she will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. When you do remember her, please do so with a kind story and a smile.
Now you know. Mary
